The short, easy drive to the ferry took about 20 minutes, great. My room was very spacious and well-decorated! The room included good reading lights, a roomy bathroom, and a convenient little fridge. I especially liked that our free parking was linked to the restaurant.
I noticed that my shower gels were near empty. They seemed slightly used. I had my own, so it wasn't really a big issue for me.

The cleanliness was immaculate EVERYWHERE. The bedroom decor was restful. The friendliness and professionalism of the reception staff. I appreciated the prompt resolution of a minor issue, it showed their commitment to guest satisfaction.
I had to pay for parking. It was ÂŁ5 per night, this seemed unusual for hotel guests.

The beautiful king room was HUGE.. it was quite the surprise! The mini fridge held water bottles, a detail i appreciate. Breakfast offered LOTS of choices and tasted delicious.
The room service experienced some hiccups. Half our order was missing. I reminded me of WE were causing an inconvenience when i mentioned it. Plus, our room sat RIGHT above a loud air-conditioning unit..

the room cleaning was a major issue. i requested service multiple times, but no one came. i even spoke with reception, and they promised to send someone during dinner (since they needed the room empty). on the third day, i had to ask for towels before leaving (it's frustrating).
